Anne Leopold

Anne Leopold founded Emmaus Home in 2015 on behalf of her fourth son Kevin who has autism, intellectual disabilities and epilepsy. Unhappy with group homes that were not religious or faith-based, she founded her own 501(c)3 named after Luke’s gospel - The Road to Emmaus. Just ss Jesus’ disciples didn’t recognize Him at first, our society, oftentimes, doesn’t recognize all the talents, strength and blessings that people with disabilities give to us. Anne has a BA in Theology and has taught in private schools and home schooling co-ops. Married to Larry, they are the proud parents of a blended family with 15 children.
