Christopher Josten

Role:

Christopher is an attorney in Philadelphia with a background in engineering and experience as an officer in the U.S. Navy, so he brings several types of professional insight to his service on the board. He learned of Emmaus Home in 2023 through a providential encounter with its founder - Anne Leopold. The mission of Emmaus resonated with Christopher because he cares about people, and that's what Emmaus does - caringly addresses the special needs of disabled people.

Christopher enjoys exercising, the outdoors, sailing and home improvement. Because he recently moved into a fixer upper, he's spending a disproportionate amount of time on the latter lately, but he is always looking forward to his next opportunity to get out in nature or on the water.
