Libya Dorsey

Role:

Libya Dorsey is our Jenkintown House Supervisor. She has over 21 years of experience working with
both children and adults who have intellectual disabilities, behavioral issues, and/or traumatic
brain injuries. Her background is in behavioral health services. Prior to working as a Special
Education teacher assistant for the Philadelphia School District, she began volunteering in this field
when she was a teenager. From the first day she worked as a direct support professional to the
present she has increased the standard of living for her individuals. Fun fact about Libby you may find her painting sunsets with her my main coon, shih tzu, and bearded dragon when she is not at work.
